Shinola Mackinac Automatic Chrono 40mm Night Race Limited Edition

Inspired by centuries-old Great Lakes Maritime history, the Mackinac is a truly one-of-a-kind automatic chronograph. Also referred to as a regatta timer, yachting chronograph, or sailing watch, the Mackinac features a yacht timer for the countdown at the start of a sailing race.

Enter the Night Race, a new twist on an old legend. At its center: a black and orange forged carbon fiber dial, formed under extreme heat and pressure, wrapped in a squared sandblast PVD black case. Applied brushed gunmetal indexes with old radium lum hold the hours.The date aperture, orange seconds hand and yacht timer pop against the dial. A full exhibition caseback reveals the automatic SW511movement inside. A new quick-release PVD black mesh bracelet with micro-adjust buckle completes the build. 

Serialized and limited to 500. Designed and assembled in Detroit. Note: Forged carbon fiber patterns vary. No two dials are the same.
